Good morning! Happy Sunday!

Good morning.
Happy Sunday to you all. Life is full tilt here at my house. Yesterday, I drove to a neighboring state and placed an order for two cedar bookshelves. Then, I drove back home. It’s times like this where I regret my decision to join the army.
I should’ve joined the Seabees or learned a trade!
It’s all good. The Amish will build them, and I’ll bring them home and set them up. That works too. I’m between decisions at the moment concerning my blog. There are some changes coming to it soon, and I want to write a few lines to explain.
When I started writing, my plan was to devote my time to writing A Walk in Darkness. It took years, but I’ve finally healed up enough to write that story, and I’m beyond pleased with having it out of my system. The other reason was to pursue writing novels. Blogging has sort of evolved from my desire to do the other two. I’m thankful for the way things played out.
You guys are amazing. I’ve connected with people from all over the world from the comfort of my living room, or the public library, and I’m blown away by that fact. You’ve read my horrible first drafts and supported me through it all. There’ve been moments when I wanted to quit, or wanted to throw my computer out in the yard from sheer frustration, but you guys kept me sane.
If you’re ever in my neck of the woods, or vice versa, I definitely owe you all at least one cup of coffee. Blogging has been its own reward. I’ve pushed about as far as I can go right now. It’s time for me to take a break and wander the world for a bit. Not to fear though, I plan to stay in touch with a weekly posting to update you all on the going ons in my life. Or to encourage, motivate, or simply brief you all on Chunk’s antics.
Who knows? I might get out in the world and run back to my computer without leaving the yard. Still, now seems like a good time to take a break and rest. Maybe read a Hardy Boys book, or even Edgar Allan Poe. This isn’t goodbye, this is I’ll see you next week.
As I bring this sappy piece of writing to a close, I want to thank you all again. You guys rock, and I’m forever grateful for the connection we’ve made. I’ll write you next week.
Freeman
