I hope this finds you all doing well. After two days of rain, the sun has peeped out from behind the clouds and blessed us with a few rays of sunlight. I’m not up to writing/finishing Faithless today.
For some reason unbeknownst to me I have struggled to write this story. I started over, and it’s not even coming together the way I want it too. Sigh, it’s one of those days, I reckon.
My mind scattered over several topics and refuses to focus on one thing for long. It’s maddening. I will have high speed internet soon, and I am chomping at the bit for that to happen.
Stress isn’t something I normally do, but given all that is transpiring in the world it’s hard not to stress. Bacon is 21 bucks here in Mississippi. Yesterday, 70 dollars bought me half a tank of diesel for my truck.
If this is the cost of progress, I’d rather things stayed the way they were before Joe Biden became president. I could really go for some cheap fuel and groceries. A buddy of mine shared his receipt for his grocery bill, it was 348.00.
I don’t think one man or woman, Republican or Democrat, has all the answers. Life is too uncertain for one party to have it all figured out. But come on man. This isn’t progress, this is a recession.
Inept leadership causes chaos. I would go further and say this is a predicator of the collapse of American society. Yeah, I’m full of doomsday prophecy today.
Still, I was on God’s wake up list this morning, and I am thankful for that. As bad as things are right now, it won’t stay that way.
The light will return.
