I chose to visit my local library today. It’s nice and quiet, except for the humming of machinery as the city works down the road. I enjoy visiting the library because I find it peaceful and easier to write.
For example, I’ve written twelve pages of AWID in just over an hour. I should do this more often. I crossed over 100 pages now, my word count is over 14,000, and I’m only just now finishing my first deployment.
That’s only the beginning, the journey begins at the end of my second deployment. I suppose all this backstory is necessary to understand the depth of my despair. So, here’s to being one step closer to a finished story.
I hope this finds you all doing well. After two days of storms, the sun is out. Lord only knows what the rest of the day holds, but I am thrilled to be on the right side of the dirt.
Y’all take it easy.
