A most productive year…a few thoughts…

Good morning from the frost bitten hills of North Mississippi.

I hope this finds you all doing well. On this early, cold (brrr) morning, I’ve decided to write down (for posterity’s sake) a few thoughts concerning my year in writing. As of this year, 2021, I have completed five murder mysteries starring Thermopolis Konan and Lilly Thompson. I’ve also completed The Recluse and rewritten it once, and this is one I am most proud of, I finished A Walk in Darkness.

In the past, I’ve refused to finish anything. This year, I have found my sweet spot. Instead of leaping haphazardly like a drunken frog from one project to the next, I have focused on finishing one project at a time. It’s worked out wonderfully.

To boot, I’ve joined Scribophile. I decided that if I could muster up the courage to finish a project, maybe next year, I could find the courage to post a writing and have it critiqued. We’ll see what happens.

Alas, the holidays are upon us. From my family to yours, may you be smothered with love, and get everything you hoped for. Happy holidays to you and yours.

God bless you all,

Freeman.
