The day is finally dwindling into the evening embers. My body is tired, but my spirt is rejuvenated. It has been a mediocre day for sales, but you can’t put a price on spending time with people that you enjoy being around. Thus, it was a successful day in some regards.
I have been non-committal when it comes to writing A Walk in Darkness. I suppose it has to do with the dreariness of that period of my life. The remembrance of this period is taxing on my soul. The story should be told, I truly believe that it can be an encouragement to those who feel they are alone. So, starting tomorrow, I will be back at writing 1000-1500 words a day on it. John Steinbeck once said, write without correcting your mistakes. Put it all on paper and then start the editing process. Rachel Embrey has also stressed this point throughout my writing career. One would assume at some juncture I would listen to this advice. Starting tomorrow, I will practice it. This evening however, I will be entertained by some mindless show on Netflix or Amazon Prime.
Y’all take care and I will chat with you all later.
Freeman out.
