Fact checking, Politifact, and the uncomfortable truth about the Democratic Party and the KKK.

I opened my Facebook account to find that Politifact has fact-checked the creation of the Ku Klux Klan by the Democratic Party. To my surprise, the brilliant folks at Politifact have come to the conclusion that this is false. Rather, it is the insidious plot of conservative bloggers worldwide, to switch the narrative and re-write history. I am a conservative who blogs, and no I have no desire to re-write the history books. Neither do I have the patience or time for sensitive, easily offended individuals who choose to attack others because the truth hurts their feelings.

What really bothers me the most is that the Democrats refuse to just acknowledge that it is part of their history. Mistakes were made, and yes we have a black eye because of slavery. However, the Democratic Party is concerned only with their image. For example, if a mass shooting occurs they scream that if banning all guns would save one life we should destroy the 2nd Amendment. They always invoke the innocence of the children in mass shootings. In the same breath they scream that it’s a woman’s right to carry a child the full 40 weeks and give birth, then decide if they want to keep it or abort it. Hypocritical much?

I am not going to do the research to disprove Politifact’s fact-checking. I would be all day. The Democratic Party wants to eradicate their part in the slavery SNAFU and blame it all on those pesky Southerners. After all, everyone needs a scapegoat. I feel for this upcoming generation. The truth is out there, you just have to dig deeper than these left-leaning fact checking sites that are only concerned with their image. I am disgusted with this crap. God forbid the truth would come out about anything that may potentially embarrass us.

Freeman out.

P.S. Here are some books that can shed some light on the origin and formation of the KKK. Hate Crimes: Causes, Controls, and Controversies by Phyllis Gerstenfeld. Terrorism and Homeland Security by Jonathon R. White.
