Yesterday was a wonderful time due to me spending time with my lovely lady friend Rachel Embrey. I went to a writing meet and greet in Oxford. It was a good time. Then we toured the campus of Ole Miss. Some of the architecture was outstanding, especially the Ventress building. Then we went to Square Books and Off Square books. It was such a great time that it seemed that we spent hours in these stores. We had dinner in a small Indian restaurant. The cuisine was nothing short of amazing. While we spent time on campus we took in William Faulkner’s house, Rowan Oaks. The day was simply awesome and I am so glad that I got to spend it with Rachel.
Take care.

I am a good ole country boy residing in North Mississippi. I love to read, fish, hunt, hike and go to garage sales. Flea markets are a passion of mine. I read anything, but some of my favorites are: Dean Koontz, Robert Frost, Emily Dickinson, T.S. Eliot, Shakespeare, and I possess a fondness for the writings of William Faulkner and Mark Twain. If I am forced to choose, I prefer baseball to football. I enjoy Alabama football (Roll Tide)! My baseball teams include: The Colorado Rockies and Boston Red Sox.
I am divorced, the father of two daughters and live by myself with Chunk and Roscoe (my dogs).
