Well, it is raining. YAY! I love the smell of rain. Today has been eventful, I went this morning with my dad and bought some of the stuff that I need to repair my hot water lines. It seems like I might be close to making the repairs. Finally, I will be able to shower in my home again. Wash dishes and work on my library. My dad brought me some tools. The shop is looking good. Things seem to be on the uptick.
Writing has been flowing well. There has been no shortage of inspiration. I have Rachel Embrey who without noticing her impact on me, provides me with the strength to power on. She provides me with insight on how to sharpen my craft. There is no shortage of crap on Facebook (thank you Kaepernick) and the idiocy of people to write about. I suppose that if things get slow, I can always write about stupid drivers.
Tonight, is church. I could really use a touch from the Lord tonight. I am washing some clothes so that I can get to the prayer room. God knows I can tell when I haven’t prayed or fasted. Reading the Bible is a good source of strength. However, sometimes you need to be able to go to church and regenerate your strength by gathering with like-minded faith. There is no doubt that the Lord can provide exactly what we need. It takes a little faith.
I am going to end this by saying that I am grateful to be an American. Despite all this country’s faults there is no greater nation on Earth. God has richly blessed this country. I am proud to say that I have served it with honor and dignity. May God bless you all. Take care and we will chat soon!
