It is easy for me to point out the faults of others. “Look at how they dressed.” Or maybe the old standby, “Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and Louis Farrakhan are racist.” Of course on the latter, all I do is judge a tree by its fruit. However, it is not my place to judge. The Bible says that we know a tree by its fruit. If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck and smells like a duck, it’s a duck.
In some small way, I suppose that this is an apology. The truth is that it would be a fantastic day if all three of the above-mentioned individuals would receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost. I would give anything to see that happen. Then Hillary Clinton and Bill as well. I do not want to see anyone go to hell. As a Christian I want everyone to make Heaven their home, but there are some steps that must be taken to get there.
Repentance, baptism in Jesus name, the in-filling of the Holy Ghost by evidence of speaking in tongues are the three pre-requisites of salvation. Then there is the picking up of our cross and following Him. That is how we get to make Heaven our permanent place of residence. Help me to pray for these individuals that God will touch their hearts and fill them with His Spirit. Peace be with you.
