This morning I awoke to a heart that had been touched by Almighty God. My heart had a song in it due to the meaningful impact that came from worshipping God. In light of this, my morning was bound to be chaotic. However, no chaos can match the grace of God. I had breakfast with my parents, and we drank some coffee and chatted about their weekend. In time, I spoke of the amazing burdens that Rev. Williamson and Helton seemed to carry for lost souls. It is apparent that God has plans for the church in Iuka. In a world that seems to be driven to madness, the church serves as a bulkhead to protect against the storms of life. Pastor Lambert spoke last night about the mercy seat. There has to be a mercy seat in our lives, because without mercy we would all be doomed. It is with a thankful heart that God brought me home literally and spiritually. When life had me on the ropes, God gave me the strength to pull through. In my darkest hours, God is my ever-present friend and help. I am grateful for men and women of God who care for us, pray for us, and correct us. God bless you all.
